Drawing from their mutual love of classic rock, pop, country, jazz and blues Christine and Dave dive head long and full throttle into the songs they love. Their combined passion, talent and fun-loving personalities bring a natural warmth and great charm to their performances.

Christine & Dave recorded a session for The Paul Jones Radio Two show in 1994. A fan gave Dave a copy of that recording maybe 9 or 10 years later. Dave thought it sounded great and forwarded a copy to Christine. They decided to do some live performances and pulled a band of stellar musicians together for a tour - that was way back in 2004.

 

A number of tours followed over a half a dozen years and garnered a live CD: Dave Kelly, Christine Collister and The Travelling Gentlemen.  

 

Several other tours ensued with Dave, Peter Filleul (Lifes & Loves Of A She-devil/Climax Blues Band) with Homer Kelly on bass followed by a ‘Trio Tour’ that in reality had 6 musicians on stage. It’s a long story!

 

Fast forward to 2018 and Dave invites Christine to perform together … this time … as they had originally intended all those years ago … as a duo! That first opportunity arose with an invitation to play the Vancouver Island Music Festival in the summer of 2018. Dave and Christine had a blast and so a plan was put together to do a string of dates in 2019 in the UK. It was great fun and … there are rumblings that perhaps … once this Covid19 business is sorted! … another tour could be on the horizon!
