Hello hope you like this new shiny Blogpost page!

Not only am I writing a new Blogpost here to include shenanigans from the recent and fabulous Daphne's Flight tour but I'm also creating a whole new website for myself. Hopefully there will be enough delight, inspiring images and musical revelations to keep you interested in all things CC ... and if you think there's something missing ... just let me know!

And so to Daphne's most recent Flight. As ever time has an amazing way of speeding along and it's hard to believe that all the build-up and excitement has now been fully realised and is now already in the past! There are still a few Daphne's escapades to look forward to of course and firm plans being made to do it all again in 2018. Hurrah.

Our first gig was at Peel Centenary Centre on the Isle of Man May 7th and my fellow Daphne's - Chris While, Melanie Harrold, Julie Matthews and Helen Watson - arrived on the tiny isle's surprisingly sunny shores, the evening of May 1st. I'd arranged with generous friends Zoe and Gemma, for the four UK Daphne's to stay at their glorious home overlooking the Irish sea ... win-win all round.

After a few days of intense but satisfying rehearsals interspersed with fairytale outings, our first show was a sell out and an incredible start to our musical adventures. We couldn't have asked for a better response or a more enthusiastic or excited audience ... with record breaking CD sales to boot! Daphne's were off and flying.

I'll be back with photos and videos of the rest of the tour over the next few weeks. But for now I'll leave you with this delightful rendition of Lay Fallow from our spectacular show at King's Place London.

Thanks as always for stopping by ... see you soon!

Endless blessings!

Christine xxx
