Hell Bent Heaven Bound was a show conceived by Barb Jungr for the Edinburgh Fringe in 1992. The collaboration of Barb, Christine and Michael Parker continued with the addition of blues singer Helen Watson and in 1993 "Hell Bent Heaven Bound II: Money The Final Frontier" - a collection of songs on the theme of money - toured Britain and Canada. Directed by Debbie Isitt, the show opened at the hertfordshire Jazz Festival going on to Brighton, Sidmouth and Edinburgh Festivals. Now re-mastered for CD in 2008, the year a global recession struck a very strong chord, this superb collection of songs and their pertinent theme remains as poignant as ever.
